I had a chance to visit Russia recently.
In my pocket are Belarusian rubles and dollars. I never thought that there could be any problems in the Russian Federation with the exchange of white rubles for Russian ones. It turned out that it was almost impossible to do this. In all banks, conversion was possible only, as explained, of the convertible currency. I wondered if BIN is not …, especially partner countries and fraternal relations. I'm shocked. I had to change the bucks at a discount rate.
In the Russian Federation, BYN is not relevant from the word at all. The same cannot be said about RUB in RB.
It seems that for the Russian Federation, visiting the Republic of Belarus is like spending time in some kind of park. Countermarkets are bought, and when they exit, they are simply changed back to Russian rubles. They are simply not needed in Russia.
