I noticed that people are not inherently lazy, but they are extremely unwilling to learn something new if it does not significantly solve their problems right here and now. In a word, the conservatives. New buttons, strange menus, incomprehensible blocks - The more familiar the interface, the easier it is to start using the product.

People are pleased when something new does not break their usual experience.
Trying to make something from scratch without having obvious advantages is an almost guaranteed path to failure. It's hard for people to accept the unusual unless there's a good reason.
Even the coolest project, if it scares people away with its interface at the start - even though everything is spinning and spinning there, as if you are in virtual reality - immediately loses half the chance of success.
